NYSHSRA GIVES BACK TO THE COMMUNITY

On January 25th 2009 members of the NYSHSRA visited the Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital in Schenectady, NY and the Little Sprouts Daycare in Schenectady, NY where NYSHSRA delivered many toys and gifts for deserving children.  The student members and their families purchased gifts for this charity giving and then the members delivered them in person and spoke with representatives from both agencies.  At Sunnyview the students were able to present gifts directly to children who were hospitalized and were able to help brighten their hospital stay.  Following the visit to Sunnyview, Eric Fabian, NYSHSRA student president who coordinated this event with his family, received special thank you's from both Sunnyview and Little Sprouts.  We were able to present both organizations with group pictures of the students involved in the gift giving and to express our thanks to them as well, for allowing us to participate in this great event.  The NYSHSRA student members made an impact on their community and we are proud of them for their participation in this activity.
